International Shipping Information

If you are interested in having a bird shipped from the USA to another country, you'll need to obtain any necessary permits and health certificates, and arrange for transportation. To learn more about our shipping procedures, visit our FAQ page. For more information on import/export regulations, contact the following organizations:

CITES Species: Emerald Forest Bird Gardens does not ship CITES-listed species internationally. Visit the CITES website for a checklist of all currently listed toucan species.

Import/Export Requirements and Documentation: An International Health Certificate is required for all bird exports, and must be obtained from a USDA-accredited veterinarian. The destination country may have additional requirements such as an import permit or quarantine period. Visit the USDA website for more information, and to search International Regulations (IRegs) for your country.
